Since the move of the Sutro Library—part of the California State Library, into the new library on campus, the building at 480 Winston Drive has been used primarily for storage. The facility, which had been constructed as a temporary modular building, had begun to experience significant deterioration. The university is currently demolishing the structure. Demolition will be completed by late spring 2021. For additional information about the Sutro Library, please visit: www.library.ca.gov/sutro/
